Reviews for "Pearls Over Shanghai"
For anyone who hasn't heard, "Pearls Over Shanhai" has just been extended until September 20th (duh, that's why I'm in it :P).
I wanted to begin compiling some of the great reviews I've been seeing. These are mostly from friends, but more reviews can be found on Goldstar, where half-price tickets are occasionally offered (you can sign up to receive notices when this happens), and also on Brown Paper Tickets (the usual place to get tickets).

Jonathan Puppy-Kearns says you need to go see Pearls Over Shanghai!!!! you should also pay the extra few bones for the "box" seats PLEASE GO SEE THIS IT IS SOOOOOOOO AMAZINGLY FUN!!!!!!!! it left me all woozie with smiles and awe and happy. Its the SF i fell... in love with as a 4 year old in 1976 and again in the 80's and again in the 90's and again this past year or so. Beccie you and me girl, we gotta go! Kater Kagel was GREAT in it.

A rollicking, campy, outrageous spectacle of a show. Great costumes, sexy, funny, and ridiculous.
